PLAN FOR A FINANCIALLY SECURE RETIREMENT

The Teachers' Retirement Agency one day seminar is an ideal way to help school staff prepare for their retirement.

We are very happy to announce our Spring 2024 planning for retirement seminar dates. In March 2024 we will be visiting London, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham. These seminars will be run on a Saturday as not to disrupt the working week. You can book your place for just £99 + VAT, including lunch and course materials. Why not bring a colleague for free! In many circumstances, your school may fund the cost of the seminar. Contact your finance officer for further details.

OUR RETIREMENT SEMINARS COVER

TEACHER PENSIONS
Will the new pension reforms affect me? When can I retire? How much will my pension be? Will the changes affect me? How can I improve my pension?
MONEY MANAGEMENT
How do I manage on a lower income? Do I repay my mortgage? Should I continue saving? Should I invest for income?
INVESTING FOR GROWTH
Where do I invest my money? How do I make my money work for me? Can I get a better rate than a bank account?
WILLS & INHERITANCE
How do I reduce my Inheritance Tax bill? Why make a will? How do I make sure my money passes to my children on my death?
STATE PENSIONS
When will I get my state pension? How much will it be? Will the proposed changes affect me? Can I defer my state pension?
EARLY RETIREMENT
Can I retire early? Will I be penalised if I retire early? What can I do to help me retire early?
HEALTH
Should I consider Private Medical Insurance? Who will make decisions if I can't look after myself in the future?
PAID WORK
What opportunities might I have? Will this affect my pension? What about tax? Can I join the Teacher's Pension Scheme again?

YOU ONLY HAVE ONE RETIREMENT. MAKE IT FINANCIALLY SECURE, AND LIVE OUT YOUR DREAMS.

I have attended other companies' seminars but this day was excellent. Extremely detailed with clear action points. I would recommend without reservation.”
